0 + 0 + ... = ?

is it really 0? How is that possible? Isnt it infinity, because I use infinity amounts of something from a set ?

These things are getting stupider over the time. No. zero is zero and if you add it up indefinitely, it still remains zero.

Short answer: Its undefined

Long answer: It can be anything you want it to be.

Proof:
0+0+0+... = 0*inf

0*infinity is the same thing as the
limit(x->0) x(inf)
=limit(x->0) x(1/x)
=1

However, infinity can be rewritten as the limit(x->0) n/x where n is any number. Using this, we get:
limit(x->0) x(n/x) = n.

Since n can be any number, 0*inf or 0+0+0+... can be any number.

lol exactly. lichess is the bottom of the barrel in terms of quality posts. Half the people here are 5 years old. Man why do I even come here. Its like a bad addiction lol
