why is it easier to win in classical chess?

The same player will have a better rating in classical chess than in blitz. And maybe a player who is better than 85% players in classical is only better than 70% in blitz. Is it because good players only play blitz chess in general?
Online, it is more common for experienced players to play blitz and bullet only.

They play classical chess in OTB tournaments and national club leagues and rapid chess (usually 15min + 15min) in chess club nights.

So they come online for something different, for quick games. Also you can move faster with the mouse than in real life and it is impossible to make an illegal move or knock over pieces, so online chess is naturally more suited for blitz, not to mention bullet.

This leads to online blitz having a bigger pool of experienced players than online classical chess.

That's my theory anyways.
