what have you learned from chess

I've learned the L shape, eating pawns, hanging bad bishops, picking up queens and last but not least mating.
Not to worry about losing, it happens. But be happy when you win xxx one balances the other xxx
Visualization, especially in math, calculation and intuition. Also to move the mouse quickly, handy in video games :)
@Mate_on_f7 I played chess for years but am still bad at Minecraft PVP hhh
I also think that chess is really related to math probs, coordinates
In high level math, it's crucial to think ahead multiple steps and have a wide repertoire of concepts, paralleling the many tactics in chess. In some contests you have 75 minutes to solve 25 problems, so intuition comes in handy!
@Mate_on_f7 even out of studies, intuition is handy in real life, sometimes you won't calculate all possibilities, you will follow you intuation
You learn chess from chess. If you think you've learned anything else from it you're probably just fooling yourself.
Through chess I learned to kill the boring hours of a boring day.
