Does anyone here really enjoy reading?

Yes. I like to read. I like reading The Holy Bible. I am reading Psalms again right now. I am also reading The Last Dark by Stephen R. Donaldson.
Hello!
Great post!
I try to read every morning, when I can. I'd love to teach English someday.
My favorites are Kurt Vonnegut and Douglas Adams.
In high school, I went nuts over Jorge Luis Borges. (I was a sixteen-year-old girl. I guess I found gauchos romantic.)
Happy reading! (:
If you get to it, time quake is a pretty interesting concept too.
@Drhack Ive got that sitting in my garage; never read it yet. Ill check it out.

If anyone is into space odysseys I also love Jack McDevitt ; Arthur C Clark; and of course Isaac Asimov.

The ender series is also quite good; though it gets a bit out there in some of the later books.

@landscaping123

You would probably also enjoy the Left Behind series; and then I would also HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend the book "The Robe"
Its beautiful.
I really like John Scalzi's work as well. He writes excellent sci-fi. He's like a much funnier Douglas Adams. :-)
@Nordefjorden Jorge Luis Borges has been on my list for a while but I've never gotten around to reading any of his work.

There's something so satisfying about finishing a work of literature, though.

And that's cool that you want to teach English!
