About me

Playing experience
I played 10 years in a row in Cuba in main closed tournaments, 5 years living in Spain in professional chess, training and playing for great chess clubs in this country and in France.
Teaching experience
More than 20 years experience as a coach. I worked with GM Anand and GM Vallejo. Head coach in UT Brownsville chess program for three years.
Teaching methodology
I see a student as a special one, I understand his games then I suggest what I feel is best for him. We work in his opening repertory, typical middle games understanding and main endings. I always send homework after lesson.
