New Interface

Well, new design? It is a mouseclick more to get to anything!!

thumb down*
Ridiculous menu...
from a finished game tournament I have to click twice to get the list of new tournaments.
They have nothing to-do than bloating the UI with fashion things.

If you need better to-do? let me find for you:
- Add ability to multiple seek game (different time-control, variant) at same time.
- Add ability to save seek for one-click.
- Disallow join (or creating) tournament to new comer until they have ~3 days or ~50 games played.
- Add ability to filter the tournament list by variant/time-control.
- Add ability to list current games played by time-control/variant
- And the last one for the moment: Reduce distances and number of clicks between the most clicked links and sections of the site.

Do not you just love to code for it to be functional, you must also love to play chess at any variant, any time-control to understand what is wrong.

So do it!
pointless update that just adds more hassle for getting to places
The old one is better for sure, would be nice to have an option to choose between the old style and this new one, this feature could be available in the preferences menu, what do you guys think about this idea? i guess that this option could solve this issue
I like the old one better... But the new ones ok but it takes longer...
yeah not a fan either, on a side note is scrolling on the menu page broken for anyone else? had a very hard time getting to the forums, had to zoom the page out -_-
I don't like that when I open the menu and close it, the screen rolls up automatically. It should stay where I left it when I opened the menu.
I have no problem with the changes but isn't it bit confusing for someone being first time on lichess? I mean this site attracted many people from competitor sites during the last 12 months and this will proceed in the next time and you know how people are: if they do not find the one button they are searching for within 3 seconds, they are done with a new site
