Hello. It would be nice for you to study some openings just to understand the theory a little but in general the important thing is to always be playing and practicing. If in one of your matches you fell in a very fast blow, study how to defend yourself from it, if another one came and applied a different blow to you, also study how to defend yourself. always remembering, never study too many theories and play normally avoiding the pitfalls

Blow you’re opponents king OUT OF THE SKY!!!!
For myself a rule at the start was "every time u move a piece it should defend ur king if necessary, otherwise it should put the other king directly under pressure"
