Bullet chess promotes bad habits?

It is not usual to find a player who does not give up in absolutely lost positions. Nor is it normal to find a player who intends to win by speculating over time.
However, these behaviors are not only very common in bullet chess but there are players, many players who enjoy this way.
I find it completely paradoxical that the values that are instilled in classic chess are trampled in super fast chess.
I absolute hate winning on time, and i hate losing on time, so i can only agree. Thats the annoying aspect of Bullet chess :/
In Bullet time is the decisive factor. „Lost position“? It‘s like playing poker. You can make points out of nothing.
Time has its reason in chess the same way as in life. If you dont make a decision in time, you miss oportunity. you go into bullet game with knowledge of time frame, so you should be ready to face it.
And if somebody wins at the time clock, it only means he can use his resources better than you, and thats something you should not be ashamed of.
It depends on the level though - if you look at 2900+ bullet players like Opper and Magnus and you analyse their games, they sometimes have perfect engine-accurate games, and so do I sometimes, being a 2000 rated bullet player. Those who aren't good at bullet or don't play it always say things like it is all about flagging, but it really isn't - go and try it yourself and play against quality opposition. They'll destroy you on the board and on time.
#5 „ ... sometimes ... engine-accurate games ...“

Sometimes BS^3 worse than any beginners ever.

You could also argue the opposite and claim that playing faster timeframes can improve your game, for example better time management and playing in stressful situations.
Then, to conclude, it deserves to congratulate the player that best suits the context. Regardless of the spirit of the game, in general it has always been another. If we play fast chess we have to forget about honesty, chivalry and so on. Maybe I should play slow games. (Although the temptation is there)
Merry Christmas.
The best way to respect bullet chess is to not play them when you cannot take a loss gracefully. Stop complaining because you sound awful.
