Creating "Illegal Positions" to Study

Are there currently any plans for development for a feature in the study/puzzle section that allows for just pieces in sort of an "impossible" position?

Our scholastics program is wondering if we can use this feature for puzzles that might not involve two kings on the board, yet still be able to study the position? Sort of for beginners or certain endgame positions.

I did use that, though being able to go through the moves and have different lines is very nice.

I suppose you could create a study involving only one king on the board by setting the variant to Horde and using the aforementioned Lichess Board Editor. I don't believe there's any way to examine positions with both kings missing, however.
