Time before forfeit on 1st move in tournaments

the same lag happend to me twice in the last week and my ping was allright.

I guess the 1400s appreciate the 15 second first move limit. I wasnt transferred to my game right away, I had to manually click my way there and right before I could finish making my move the thing forfeited me. This happened to me in both classical and blitz tournaments in the last 2 weeks against 1400 players lol.

Could've sworn I lost to a 1400 this way in classical, but if so it was awhile ago. Didnt mean to overstate the problem.

To put in perspective, after looking through each of my lost games since 6/21, I see that I'm down 91 blitz rating due to not being sent to my tournament game automatically, lag, and the 15 second first move requirement in tournaments.

I agree that we should change the wait time back to 30 seconds. I've lost over 150 bullet points because of lag at the beginning of tournament games causing me to forfeit. I continued playing more, assuming it was just an overheating problem with my computer or something similar, but the problem never went away.

There does seem to be heavier lag on the first than other moves. Not sure why this is.
