Request: Add a Live Chat Window on Main Page

I think it would be cool and helpful to have a live chat going in a side-bar, so you could request games or just generally chat. If possible, it would be able to be minimized, and would have same ground rules about politeness, etc., as the in-game chats. Is it feasible? Perhaps somebody has mentioned this before, but I didn't see it if it was previously suggested.
Also: Thanks! This is a great site with friendly and talented players. somebody did a good job with this.

Pretty sure it was tried but removed because of trolls (before my time here). Maybe chats for groups could be added though, similar to tournaments.

Not removed due to trolls, it was removed as the chat was incomprehensible/unintelligible due to the volume of messages. There's now 10k+ people on this site at peak times, and I recall that we called it 'enough' with the homepage chat when we were peaking at less than 1k. It simply wouldn't be functional.

Regardless if it has been there before, it won't be added. There are many alternative unofficial chat rooms.

Chat for lichess TV would be nice :D
